Meridian or Hinckley?
My choice would be a '63 Bonnie from the Coventry factory..... first model with the unit construction engine 😋

Your work is outstanding! :) The engineering parts a bit off, like it would really burn the legs off the driver. lol Still, Great work as a concept piece.

Ha-Ha! That's brilliant! :+fav:'d!

Just out of interest, are those Harrier exhaust nozzles?

cheers man, thankyou!

Well spotted - your quite right, the nozzles on the end of the exhaust are from the Rolls-Royce engine in the harrier. I believe the photostock was actually a P126 (i think thats the right number) which was the earlier test version. A truely amazing aircraft either way!

Sweet! Thought as much. :D

Yep, Harrier is such a great aircraft, and probably my favourite jet [most loved of all being the Spitfire - what else, mirite?]. If you're into prototypes and whatnot, I recently stumbled across a fascinating Harrier documentary on YouTube, which I think must've been made - significantly - in 1980 or '81, which tells the plane's creation story and features interviews with major players in its development - designers, test pilots, and so on.

And, you're very welcome! This is a really cool design. All the components fit together really well to make a totally convincing image. I mean, it looks like it works and is ready to ride. Top job, mate.

Nice link!!!! Yeah it's a great looking aircraft. I was lucky enough to run a small model making business a few years back attending airshows every weekend. Seeing one hover 50ft about your end and being deafen not to mention the wind is truely something!

Thanks again for your comments dude! (check out my robot piece from awhile back...that too features both harrier and commerical jet elements).
